Plan your exit from software engineering or AI will end it for you

Don't be a stupid software engineer, you see it coming for you and that is AI coming for all our jobs. If you are currently working in tech to improve the state of how AI is improving its coding ability then you know exactly what it will be capable of in the next few years. If you aren't planning already to exit the tech industry to work for yourself, then you will just be a casualty just like the majority of people who pretend to not see this coming.

You can't prevent the inevitable, but you can ultimately be prepared by planning for the end today! This article is not about doom and gloom, the purpose of this article is to share this awakening with the rest of the people shouting the same chorus. In the last article I wrote about the state of software engineering and how there are so many individuals looking for jobs, this is the beginning of an armageddon of the tech industry.

People who are willing to get a job so desperately will do anything to stay employed, including working on something that will ultimately be their demise. YOU ARE DIGGING YOUR OWN GRAVE, just because you need a paycheck to pay for those stupid expensive meals, the mortgage, your car repayments, to fit in with the rest of society.

But seriously... we have all been brainwashed... wake up! The government has overspent and caused seriously high inflationary problems, DEBT IS OUT OF CONTROL AND THROUGH THE ROOF. Just look at yourself and the people around you. How much money is in your savings account versus how much money you have to repay?

The system is here to enslave us so that we won't complain about the work we do because we need to survive and that is to earn money to keep our necks above water. If we don't fight back against the system by spending less and living within our means collectively then ultimately we are enslaved to work on things that will be our own demise.

The times ahead are only going to be more problematic for all of us working class people. Don't rely on the government to look after you, because at the end of the day they look after their own pockets first and feed the scraps to us.

Plan to spend less, fix your budget, get rid of debt and live debt free. There is no shame in living within your means, nothing means more to life than having the freedom (this is the real freedom to raise your middle finger against the system that enslaves us to work till we die).
